friends don’t let friends ‘junk’ alone

i have to admit, i love decorating & design as much as i love photography. i love to find cheap old things and make them into treasured “pieces” that no one else will have. i love mixing an old chipped paint table with modern high gloss white chairs. i’m obsessed with garage sales, craigslist, etc.!! i called my friend sarah, an A-mazing decorator & designer (that just started her blog!) and hauled you know what out to washington county fairgrounds this morning to see what we could find at the funky junk sisters vintage flea market event! pardon the crappy pics, i forgot my camera and only had my iphone…

i picked up a couple of these lovely pillows. you can never have to many throw pillows!!

i have some old windows laying around and thought putting the chandelier decal on it was a cute idea.

loved this burlap table runner with white ruffles.

this sofa was so cute. she stuffed down comforters in it and stapled burlap all over, it was SO COOL. she sold it right away for $300. pillows and cushions included. WHAT? somebody got a smokin’ deal.

sarah bought this cute chair below with the burlap seat. she’ll do something amazing with it like she always does. with everything.

here is what i came home with!!!! some fabulous frames, burlap sack, some wooden bins, jars, pillows. i {love} all of it. i will post more photos later once i get them in the house and in ‘use’!
